Hello Everyone

When couple the results of pyrosim with pathfinder does Pyrosim results (Fire soot and heat) will affect on Pathfinder occupant’s decision making (Speed, Exit and Path)?

For example :
Occupants run away or exit from the building avoiding the fire
Or will the occupants run through the fire???

Hello,

Currently agents can sense the FDS output data to calculate FED value and to slow their movement speed based on soot visibility. They do not yet change path or change behavior based on FDS data values.  This is an area of active development for us and we welcome any suggestions on how to best simulate the agents response to fire phenomena.  There is a good talk coming up in our FEMTC 2020 conference that is relevant to this topic. https://www.femtc.com/events/2020/d2-05-cheong/
