Error during simulation: "forrtl: severe (38)"
« on: May 23, 2019, 01:29:03 am »

Hello everybody,

i am using FDS 6.7.0 via Pyrosim (rev 2018.3.1210).
During the last simulation, the following error occurred few minutes before the end of simulation.

Does anybody of you have already seen this kind of error?
I am not an expert, but it seems my network connection was lost for a while..
Thanks a lot in advance.

Marco

The simulation caches the information in the temporary files during the scan. Constantly create and delete such files. Sometimes, another program tries to read the cache file when the simulation tries to access it. Windows denies your access request because the file is in use. The programs that can read the cache file are Windows indexing, an antivirus program, disk compression or backup software.
