how to model a swirl diffuser in Pyrosim

Hi All,

Can anyone suggest or advise me how to model a swirl diffuser in Pyrosim.

I need to model an atrium where swirl diffuser is installed & need to simulate its ventilation system. Please advise how to consider this swirl effect in CFD?

Hello,

My guess is that you will need to use an array of small vents, with a louver or tangential velocity setting on them.  There is not a way to define a single vent with different tangential velocity components.

This approach might require small mesh cells around the diffuser, to resolve the vent geometry and inlet flow accurately.
