Hello All
Though I applied a temperature of 10000C for the igniter, the temperature profile extracted for a vertical plane at igniter point shows 420 C as the highest reading. I have also used few thermocouples at igniter point, which shows ~700-8000C. Would any of you help me to figure out the reason behind it?
Thanks.

Are your meshes small enough to capture this temperature gradient?  Did you perform a mesh sensitivity analysis?

Thank you so much for you response!
I used 0.5 m element size. I didn't try mesh sensitivity analysis.

Do some research to try to understand what the proper mesh size should be.  Maybe try 0.1m or 0.05m.  Notice if this fixes your problem.  Create some temperature slice files to understand the temperature flow during the simulation - does this flow represent your expectations?
