Stairs and speed
« on: May 07, 2017, 07:10:19 am »

Hello, I have been doing staircases in my school work, and I would like to ask one question. I created two identical straight stairs, one created by the individual treads (the principle as a spiral staircase) and the other classically from the Pathfinder menu. When I started the calculation, the man on the hand-made staircase was down faster than the other. And my question is whether the speed on a hand-crafted staircase needs to be set on the horizontal distance of the walk (per projection) and not the speed on the slope??

Thank you for answer and sorry for my bad English 😊
