Tangential Velocity
« on: July 26, 2016, 10:07:50 am »

Hello everyone,
I want to simulate a supply system with a velocity of 29m/s and an angle of 50º.
To do This I used the formula shown in another topic.
The results were incorrect.
when I use higher values  than 10º the results begin to distort. as I show in the figure, (left side: 29m/s, 50º).
Is there any way to simulate more accurately this case?
Mesh: 15cm.
Thanks.

It's been a while since I've looked at VEL_T and I'm not sure if, when I look at your image, I'm using the same reference angles as you. I marked up your image based on a reference line I drew at what I think should be a 50º deflection from the "normal" direction of that vent (i.e. vertical). Could you look it over and see if my notes agree with how you are measuring angles?
