heat of reaction
« on: March 09, 2016, 10:21:33 pm »

Hi,
I am trying to simulate a passenger vehicle fire and I need to know different data for different materials, especially the HEAT OF REACTION.
Please advise where to get these information from.

It is a common practice of polyurethane properties to simulate passenger car fire.  Heat of combustion is generally taken as 28 MJ/KG. You can get these data from SFPE handbook.
