Occupants overlaps in que
« on: October 13, 2015, 06:33:40 am »

Hi,

I have a simulation where the occupants overlaps when they are in que in front of the door to a stair.

The simulation where made i Pathfinder version 2015.1.xxxx by importing af 3D model from a DWG file - I have tryed to upgrade to version 2015.2.1012 x64, but the occupants still overlaps in the que i front of the doors to the stairs.

Can anyone help me?

Occupants can resolve conflicts by squeezing down to a smaller radius than the one specified in the input. You can read more in the Technical Reference (pg 33, Resolving Movement Conflicts). Is that what you are seeing?

Hi,

No - I have perhaps 50 people standing on the same spot (only one person are visibly) in front of the door to the stair .

Are you running in steering mode or SFPE mode? SFPE mode doesn't do any collisions and looks exactly like what you are describing, by design.
