defining materials
« on: July 18, 2014, 09:57:19 am »

sorry for asking again but what pyrolysis range means in reaction window?
in pyrosim manual it is not explained completely
and what does k/min unit means for heating rate?
k means kelvin?
what is the name of this equation in rate tab?
(?_(s,i)/?_s0 )^(n_s )A exp((-E)/(R T_s ))max(0,T_s- T_thr )^(n_t )

Please see section '8.5.2 Reaction Rates' in the FDS User Guide, and Chapter 5 'Combustion (Chemically Reacting Flows)' in the FDS Technical Reference Guide (Vol. 1).

Both of these documents are available in the PyroSim 'Help' menu, under 'More Help'.
