Bug? Import FDS file, problems HVAC
« on: July 08, 2014, 04:58:36 am »

Hi,

I have made a model in FDS6 (txt file) and tried to import this in Pyrosim (2014). A problem occured with the HVAC command. It says 'Invalid HVAC record specified'. I tried to make a jet fan and the problem occurs at the line that connects the two nodes. So than I made the ducts in Pyrosim, exported the file to FDS, and imported the file in Pyrosim again. I get the same error than. Is this a bug in Pyrosim?

I created a test model with an HVAC fan, ran it, and was able to import the FDS input file. The FDS file is attached (hvac.fds). Can you post your FDS file or look over the one I posted and tell us what is different? (Particularly if your model has devices. I'm told there may be something going on with devices.)
