Exterior Thermal boundary contitions
« on: February 10, 2014, 08:11:02 am »

Hi,
I'm trying to model the effects of external wall temperatures as a results of solar radiation / high external temperature.
I've been manipulating some models and the results of wall temperatures (exterior and interior) of Air Gapped, exposed and default TMPA backings were virtually identical.
So my question is basic and conceptual:
If a surface's backing is defined an "Air Gap" at a certain temperature, what will be the outcome of creating a wall made of that surface?

Thank you Best Regards,
Nitzan
