Fractional Effective Dose - Time Integral only
« on: December 02, 2013, 07:26:26 pm »

In teh FDS user's guide, it is stated:
Quote
Note that the spatial integration features (Section 16.9.11) cannot be used with FED output because FED makes use of the ’TIME INTEGRAL’ statistic (Section 16.9.12). For the same reason, FED output is only available as a point measurement.

However in pyrosim there is the option of unticking "time integral" for FED and specifying a volume in which to record.  Nothing happens in the record view when you do this, so that's all good, but I guess the option should be really be disabled since it doesn't do anything? :)

Thanks! In addition, the time integral option doesn't appear to play well with the other statistics. As soon as you choose it you can't do a volume anymore for quantities like HRR per volume for that particular statistics instance.
