heat flux on a layered surface
« on: September 23, 2011, 08:59:54 am »

Can I ask you help for the following:

Is it possible to specify a known heat flux on a layered surface?
The aim is to investigate the transient of the heat flux that travels in the solid.
I thank you in advance.

I don't think you can directly. I'd try placing a "heater" vent with a fixed heat flux up against the layered surface (pointing at the layered surface). Honestly, I have no idea if that would do something reasonable or not.
