Hi Hossein, in PyroSim results can do this:

1) Add a new view (ctrl + shift + v);
2) on the new view, right click and choose add section box;
3) modify the plans to get the view you want.

For next time remember to set display with outlines in obstruction properties or transparency.

I hope I've been helpful.

Is the VENT attached to a solid obstruction?

When importing the dwg file into pyrosim, make sure to insert it in the origin (move geometry to origin (0,0,0). You should find it easily.

PyroSim / THICKNESS

Good morning,

I should carry out a simulation in which the objective is to determine how long after the ignition some compressed bales of cardboard in storage ignite. Therefore, if, based on the spatial configuration of the material in storage, the fire is able to spread within the activity.

The material I would like to create will have an ignition temperature of around 400 ° C and will burn with a preset HRR curve.

When I create the Surface, I am asked to specify the Thickness parameter, what value should be entered to have a simulation as correct as possible?

Equal to the size of my bale? then 1.0m?

Thanks in advance to everyone for their contribution
