Pathfinder / Re: problem with the "Layout floor horizontally" option

Hi Charlie,
The PTH is to big to attach, more than 7000 KB. Can I send it to you by e-mail?

Pathfinder / problem with the "Layout floor horizontally" option
« on: September 16, 2016, 03:01:30 am »
I am simulating evacuation in a 6 storeys building. Everything works well, except that when I want to display all  my floors horizontally, it only shows 2 out of the 6 floors, without showing floor labels. It shows all the floors and connections with option "Layout floor vertically" option.
I've build several 3 large storey buidling models, and never experienced this problem. I've played a bit with the "Edit floor" option, but without succes.
Have some of you experienced this problem? Could it come from the graphic card in my computer?

Thanks in advance  ;)

PyroSim / "In loss" and "out loss"option in HVAC model
« on: January 20, 2014, 10:08:20 am »

I need some clarifications concerning the loss factors in ducts:

For "In loss": is it equivalent to the K factor for an entering flow (for example K=0.5 for a square entrance)

Concerning a node at the intersection on several pipe, I am guessing it is not necessary to specify the "forward loss" and $revers loss" if the roughness and diameter are known. Is thei assumption correct?

Thank in advance fr you help
