PyroSim / Re: tracer for HVAC
« on: May 06, 2019, 10:18:02 am »

This is not possible at this time, it is a limitation of FDS in how we cannot specify particles to source from our recirculate through HVAC vents/systems. I would recommend that you add a feature request for this to the FDS Issue Tracker.

If you are looking to trace the movement of gasses within a room/volume, then you could just add a particle cloud source for the room volume.  Make sure to set the age of the particles such that they move around for the duration you are interested in.

The error in the run output says:
"ERROR: Simple chemistry fuel, REAC_FUEL, not defined on REAC or SPEC."

If you look at the definition of Reaction1 you will see that there is not a fuel molecule defined.

Please place a slice measuring the Reacting Fuel Species concentration through the middle of the vent.  Verify that fuel is not being released from the center of the vent.  It could be that there is fuel flow, but not enough air/oxygen reaching the center of the vent to allow for reaction to occur.

Anong mga bagong bagay ang nangyari sa pagsabi sa akin kung magkano ang pag-unlad ay ginawa ngayon?

Paki-post sa Ingles.

What about circular vent to draw pool fire.

In website its mentioned circular vent is added to pyrosim, but when i try to run fds example file (circular_vent.fds) its showing error and creating square vent.

You would select the circular vent option and set the radius for the 'circle'.  All cells within the radius from the centerpoint will be set to the surface setting.  Outside the radius the surface will not be applied. (see attached)

It would be a lot easier in a 3D Modeling tool and then import the geometry into PyroSim.

We have some information about Wind in PyroSim for FDS here:

While this is a feature request in our tracking system, it is not currently an option with Pathfinder.
You must build all geometry into a single file.

Please verify that your graphics hardware drivers are updated.

Pathfinder / Re: Pathfinder video

For the walls to disappear, we recorded one fly through the tour with the walls, and then another fly through without the walls as video files.
In the Camtasia video editor, we did a fade transition between the clips.

You can use any video editor that you feel comfortable with.

You will need to update to a more recent version, you can download this from the Pathfinder download page.

The new versions include our new 'Results Viewer' that has the features you are looking for.

Please make sure that you have the most recent video card drivers for the 'Intel Graphics HD 630' hardware.

See if this resolves the issue, if not please email with more information.

PyroSim / Re: Solidwork file import to pyrosim

You will need to export the geometry from Solidworks into one of the many file formats that we do support (FBX, DWG, OBJ, DAE, DXF, STL).
