We are in the process of finishing keyboard shortcuts for Pathfinder, you will be able to map these actions to shortcut keys.
This feature should be available in the next release later this year.

Pathfinder / Re: Problem with zooming, Please help!?
« on: October 15, 2019, 03:53:38 pm »
My quick guess without seeing the model file is that you have some things in the model very far away from the origin point and it is zooming out very far to show everything in the same view.  If you send the Pathfinder file in to support by email we can look more carefully and give you more than a guess at the issue.

Pathfinder / Re: Clipping obstruction in Pyrosim results

Yes, the best way to do this is to create a new view and add a section box to it.  Each view can have it's own section box that clips away everything outside the box.  See the Results User Guide for more information about the section box feature.  This is available in the Help menu.

Not at this time, but this is a high priority feature request.  I will bump it up for review and planning again.

I have not had this error reported to support before.
Can you please zip up the pathfinder file and all of the output files for your simulation and send the zip file to support@thunderheadeng.com for further troubleshooting?

Pathfinder / Re: Navigating 3D View Feature Request
« on: August 28, 2019, 03:01:09 pm »
Hello,

Thank you for the feedback, I think you will be happy to learn that if you use the 'Select and Manipulate Objects' tool (instead of 3D Orbit), then the left mouse button is used to select/manipulate objects (and drag select), right-click drag enables 3D orbit mode, middle mouse button (pressing the scroll wheel) enables the pan tool, and scrolling the wheel zooms in and out on the model.

Also, we are very close to releasing a new feature for user-customizable Keyboard Shortcuts.

Hello,

You should either change the backing setting or edit the geometry to work with the 'exposed' backing type.

PyroSim / Re: BAT
« on: July 19, 2019, 03:00:57 pm »
Many people write scripts to run a collection of FDS files from the command line.
Thunderhead does not provide support for this use case, but it's not uncommon to run simulations this way.

Here is a basic example from https://groups.google.com/d/msg/fds-smv/icWxJRIWZNA/ysnq9JC6yXAJ

Quote
if you are running on windows then create a file named runcases.bat (using the .bat extension is the key).

Put in this file:

fds case1.fds
fds case2.fds
....
fds casen.fds

To run this "batch" file type runcases at a command line.

You would need to add the path to fds.exe (bundled with PyroSim) into your system environment variables.
For the default installation, the path to fds.exe is "C:\Program Files\PyroSim 2019\fds".

Hello,

It's difficult to understand the problem from your post here.
Please email your Pathfinder file to support@thunderheadeng.com?
