Title: Impact of FDS results on occupant movement
Post by: Rahat Mahmud on April 13, 2021, 09:20:39 am
Hello!

I am using both Pyrosim and Pathfinder. I can calculate the FED for selected occupants by importing Plot3D results data from Pyrosim simulation. Also, there is a way for manually coupling FDS results with Pathfinder to modify walking speed according to visibility. Does Pathfinder have any automated way for this integration now?
From which Pathfinder version is it possible to calculate the FED for occupants using FDS data? I need this for reference in my writing.

A reply is highly appreciated.

Thank you.

There is a newer feature in Pathfinder to have agent automatically slow down in smoke.

They will not avoid smoke yet, and doors won't close to prevent movement through a smoke filled room.
