Hi,

Is it possible to draw cone in pyrosim. or I should go for CAD tools.

Thanks.

It would be a lot easier in a 3D Modeling tool and then import the geometry into PyroSim.

Thanks,

What about circular vent to draw pool fire.

In website its mentioned circular vent is added to pyrosim, but when i try to run fds example file (circular_vent.fds) its showing error and creating square vent.

Yeah Its possible and its not too much difficult, if you use 3D tools you can easily make this.

You would select the circular vent option and set the radius for the 'circle'.  All cells within the radius from the centerpoint will be set to the surface setting.  Outside the radius the surface will not be applied. (see attached)
