Title: Congestion on stairs for a circulation model
Post by: Bruce Slater on June 14, 2018, 08:47:42 am
I am running a circulation model with people entering the building and leaving the building at the same time. They get stuck on the stairs at the ground floor and it takes them about 800 seconds before they untangle themselves. I presume this is because some want to go up and some down but they cannot order themselves to go up on one side and down on the other as I am sure would happen in reality.
What can I do to avoid this.
